Make Your Bed Day

Feeling a little off? Get up! It's National Make Your Bed Day!

September 11th, 2020 is #NationalMakeYourBedDay....but are you feeling a little slow? Do you have a headache?

A hangover is indicative of your brain being dehydrated. So, that signature pounding headache is due to dehydration (or the shrinking of your brains membrane).

It is very important to always stay hydrated with water (or another non-alcoholic beverage) when you are drinking. This will help reduce the risk of extreme dehydration.

Water is NOT a hangover cure but can help with prevention.

Be careful if you are taking headache medication. This might temporarily mask the feelings, but your body still needs time to process the alcohol out of your body. You might not be okay to drive.

There are a million other things going on in our bodies when we drink, and now you know 1 of them. Join our email list and we will share a few more #DrinkSmartTIPS with you. Have a "story" to share? Contact us.
