Event Details: Wednesday, October 20, 2021
Time: Noon (12:00 - 12:45 pm)
Where: Microsoft Teams Meeting
Let's have an honest conversation about alcohol-facilitated sexual assault and focus on the actions of the aggressor and empower bystanders. Bystanders can play an important role in preventing sexual assault by calling out the toxic party culture that enables violence.
- Overview of sexual violence
- What to look for at a party
- Tools to help you spark the conversation with friends or fellow students
We will sit down with Hillary from Draw-The-Line.ca, a campaign that aims to engage Ontarians in a dialogue about sexual violence by challenging common myths about sexual violence and equips bystanders with information on how to intervene safely and effectively.

This event is designed to share harm-reduction strategies for DrinkSmart campus partners, peer-leaders, and student ambassadors. However, all are welcome to attend the session and access the alcohol-facilitated assault resource kit. Registration is required.
